Who wouldn’t want to jump at the idea of having your friends over for a game night or girl’s night and enjoy with them rather than running to fetching beer every time they ask for it?

So people at the Willow Garage hacked their PR2 humanoid platform to make it deliver chilled beer of your choice. If that’s not all, the droid even opens the fridge when you click the beer me button, looks at the available selection and pick the beer of your choice, puts it in a delivery tray mounted to its base and close the fridge door behind it while it makes his way towards you before popping open the beer bottles. If your beer selection is unavailable, PR2 will alert you and let you pick another beer.

What’s the worse, the abnormal legs never stops growing, and one day, they may have to be amputated.

MonoTracer is a unique 'cabin motorcycle' design that the company Peraves claims is (compared to a normal sports car) "twice as much fun for half the gas". Inside, there's air conditioning, two inline seats and a top speed of 200kph or so. The drag co-efficient of this thing is phenomenally low @ 0.18 (it'd be even sleaker if they got the rest of those retractable wheels into the body, I bet).

Lee Redmond Was A Woman With The Longest Fingernails In The World

Grandmother Lee Redmond is said to be devastated at the loss of her nails, which had not been cut for 30 years.

She has been hospitalised with serious but not life-threatening injuries after she was ejected from the seat of an SUV in the crash.

The driver of the 4x4 in which she was a passenger is in a critical condition. A friend said: 'Lee knows she's lucky to be alive but she's devastated.'

Redmond's nails hadn't been cut since 1979.

With this robotic wheelchair, the person sitting in the chair does not need to operate it with his or her hands, nor does an attendant needs to supply any physical labor to pull and push the chair for his or her ward. Instead, the wheelchair moves automatically with the person who is walking alongside of it. This wheelchair is programmed to respond to the movement of the person walking with it and it can even anticipate the way in which the person will move next.

Two-headed Tortoise From South Africa

The tortoise stunned owner Noel Daniels when it emerged, its two heads peeping out from its shell.

The animal has four normal legs, although the underside of its shell is flat instead of rounded.

Despite its unusual attributes, the tortoise is functioning normally.

"The tortoise is normal and both heads feed on leaves, grass and softened rabbit pellets," Mr Daniels said.

China's '3D Fast Bus'

The Chinese company Shenzhen Hashi Future Parking Equipment Co. thinks it might be able to do just that with a concept it calls the 3D Fast Bus (which has also been called the straddling bus), and kind of giant bus/train that straddles the street and allows cars to drive right under it.

Flat Deaths Mother Theresa Riggi, Who Charged With Murder

Theresa Riggi, 46, is in hospital after falling from the balcony of the property where twins Austin and Luke, eight, and Cecilia, five, were found.

They were discovered on Wednesday afternoon after reports of a gas explosion at the Slateford Road flat.

Police confirmed a 46-year-old woman had been charged with murder.

The Story And Mystery Of Belle Gunness

She grew up in great poverty and worked on a big, wealthy farm to gain money to pay for a trip across the Atlantic . She moved to the USA in 1881.

Belle Gunness got married in Chicago in 1884 and opened a confectionary story together with her husband . The business mysteriously burned down as did the couples house in Austin and on both occasions the insurance was paid out.

Belle's husband died in 1900 and he was seen by two different doctors, the family doctor claiming that the man had died from heart failure and another doctor saying there there was signs of strychnine poisoning. The day after her husband's funeral, Belle cashed the insurance money and an inquest was ordered but to this day it is unknown whether an investigation took place. It is known that Belle cashed $8500 and moved with her daughters.
