Indian Yogi Lives Without Any Food and Water for Over 70 Years

Pravda.ru | 13 May 2010 | Prahlad Jani, an 82 year Indian yogi is used to living with empty stomach. He claims that he receives his energy from space.
At first medics thought him to be a swindler, but when they examined him they were of a different opinion. The unique yogi was placed in a hospital for observation. The first results shocked scientists and now they are trying to find out if other people can be taught to live without food and water.
Prahlad Jani says he has been living without food and water for over 70 years. He said that when he was eight he was homeless and lived in a cave near a Hindu temple where he was allegedly visited by an Indian goddess. She felt sorry for the child and bestowed these wonderful capabilities on him. Since then all he needs to survive is a drop or two of magic nectar sent to him by a goddess every day. The nectar penetrates his body through a special channel on the roof of his mouth. Scientists have no comments about it.

The Highest Tennis Court In The World

Obviousmag.org | Oct 11 2008 | one of the world's most luxurious hotels - aside from all the mystique and wealth it's known for, also has the highest tennis court in the world. Its space, located at 210 metres of altitude can also become a heliport for emergency landings or guest traffic.
Another extravagance from this sumptuous hotel, in Dubai, to which very few mortals have access. I confess, even if I was given access to it, I would have some difficulty in running around after a tennis ball at 210 metres above the ground.

Robotic Wheelchair That Follows Humans

TMZ.com | August 16th, 2010 | The basic difficulty with the wheelchair’s operation and movement control has been made surpisingly simple through the introduction of the Robotic Wheelchair, a design of the Saitama University’s Human-Robot Interaction Center.
With this robotic wheelchair, the person sitting in the chair does not need to operate it with his or her hands, nor does an attendant needs to supply any physical labor to pull and push the chair for his or her ward. Instead, the wheelchair moves automatically with the person who is walking alongside of it. This wheelchair is programmed to respond to the movement of the person walking with it and it can even anticipate the way in which the person will move next.
